Built as a military fortress in 1073, the Castle was subjected, over time, to a series of transformations. The Sanseverino Princes, the Dukes of Salluzzo and the Baroni Compagna, enlarged the original structure to make it impregnable to the sieges of the enemies and to adapt it to a noble residence. Today the Castello Ducale di Corigliano is a museum that allows you to take a dip in the past; the rooms, furnished with original furniture, recreate evocative atmospheres of past ages.
